POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Draftsperson at Rotating Right, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans for industrial pump systems and related components.

Working closely with the engineering and sales teams, you will play a vital role in converting conceptual ideas and specifications into precise visual representations, contributing significantly to the manufacturing and installation processes.

Your proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and your ability to interpret technical specifications will be essential to ensure the realization of our projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Technical Drawings:

Produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, schematics, and models of industrial pump systems, adhering to company standards and industry best practices.

Design Collaboration:

Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements, specifications, and design intent, translating these into accurate and comprehensive drafts.

Product Development:

Assist in the development and improvement of pump components, ensuring that drawings reflect the latest innovations and advancements in the field.

Quality Assurance:

Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of all drafted materials, conducting thorough checks to identify and rectify any errors or discrepancies.

Documentation:
Maintain an organized repository of drawings and associated documentation, keeping records up-to-date and easily accessible for future reference.

Compliance and Standards:
Ensure that all drafts comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and client-specific requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in CAD software and pump technology, and actively seek opportunities to enhance drafting processes and methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Draftsperson, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with industrial pumps, components, and mechanical systems is advantageous but not required.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, capable of interpreting technical specifications and translating them into precise drafts.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, collaborating seamlessly with engineering and design teams.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple drafting projects simultaneously.

Salary:
$55,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
