Hébergement/2ième étape
- Évaluer les demandes d'hébergement.

  • Accueillir les femmes et leurs enfants victimes de violence conjugale/familiale, et les accompagner durant leur séjour.
  • Développer un plan d'intervention; évaluer, intervenir, référer et assurer le suivi des résidentes.
  • Offrir des rencontres individuelles et de groupes, ainsi que des accompagnements.
  • Assister aux rencontres multidisciplinaires.
  • Les intervenantes travaillent dessous la supervision de la coordinatrice et la Directrice des Services Sociaux
  • Remplis tous documents nécessaire

Services Externes:

- Évaluer les demandes de services.

  • Assurer un suivi psychosocial.
  • Créer un plan d'intervention selon les besoins identifiés.
- Évaluer, intervenir, référer et assurer le suivi des usagères.


Éducation:
BAC et/ou maîtrise en travail social ou dans un domaine similaire; ex. Psychologie, criminologie


Expérience de travail:
Expérience de base dans un milieu communautaire et connaissance des enjeux et ressources liés à la violence conjugale.

  • The Shield of Athena Family Services is a nonprofit organization offering services to women and children victims of conjugal, family, and/or honorbased violence. The diverse clientele requires support around their experiences of violence, reestablishing a sense of safety, and often sociocultural support around their new arrival to Canada including language barriers, sociocultural isolation, and developing an understanding of their rights in Canada. The organization works collaboratively as a team. Our network is composed of two external offices (Montreal and Laval), an emergency shelter
  • Athena's House, and a multilingual community outreach department.
We are currently looking for social workers for our Second Step resource and for our external office in Montreal.


Responsibilities (Second Step Resource):


  • Evaluate and assess requests made for shelter.
  • Welcome and support women and their children victims of conjugal/family violence, as well as accompany them throughout their stay.
  • Create an intervention plan; evaluate, intervene, refer and ensure services throughout the resident's stay.
  • Offer individual meetings, animate group sessions, as well as provide accompaniment in various domains.
  • Participate in meetings with the multidisciplinary team.
External

  • Evaluate and process requests for services.
  • Offer psychosocial support to service users.
  • Develop an intervention plan based on the needs identified with the women.
  • Evaluate, intervene, refer and ensure followup throughout the length of determined services.

Education:

Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in social work or similar field; i.e. psychology, criminology


Work experience:
Basic experience in a community setting and knowledge of issues related to conjugal violence.
