About the role


Social media is truly the frontline of connection to and communication with our Movember community and the rest of the world.

You will drive the planning and delivery of the Canadian social media activity in alignment and support of Movember's global social media strategy, local communications plans and overall strategic goals.

The key objectives will be to maximise audience engagement, build online communities and acquire and retain new and existing audiences.

Due to parental leave, this role is being offered on a fixed-term full time contract (12 months). You will have the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your time between home and our Toronto office.


You'll have the opportunity to

  • Support the planning and delivery of a globally aligned channel strategy across Movember's North American social media accounts including CA and US Facebook and Twitter, global LinkedIn, and supporting other global channels including, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and other similar communities.
  • Identify social influencers to follow and interact with to grow Movember's brand visibility, working with local PR Managers to create and manage influencer partner relationships.
  • Create, curate, and maintain a monthly content calendar for key social channels.
  • Support with local copywriting needs across crossfunctional teams as necessary.
  • Review social analytics to identify insights that will inform future social content.
  • Support the development of clear strategies and KPI's for social channels to align with specific campaign objectives
- reach, awareness, traffic, engagement, and conversion.

  • Monitor social trends platforms, influencers, and relevant news, and provide recommendations for future activity as well as to determine opportune times to engage in the social conversation as it relates to the Movember brand.

For this role, you'll need

  • Minimum of 45 years in large reach social media channel management (planning and execution), with a proven track record of delivering against KPIs.
  • A deep understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, as well as any emerging platforms), trends, platform changes, and experience in endtoend content development, implementation, and measurement.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Sprout Social or equivalent social monitoring tool
  • Strong copy writing skills.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between paid and organic social media initiatives.
  • Background in performancebased social media marketing.
  • Experience in developing loyal audiences through social media.
  • Brand management experience.
  • Experience bringing to life multichannel distribution plans for brand partners.

Bonus points for

  • Fluency in French.
