We are currently looking for a capable and dependable Electrical Estimator with the primary responsibility of preparing estimates for commercial and industrial projects.

What you'll do:

Prepare estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
Calculate takeoff based upon drawings and blueprints.
Interpret documentation, specifications, and drawings.
Calculate labour and material costs for projects.
Work with management to prepare final quotes.
Finalize and compile tender documents for review and submissions.
Ability to work with a variety of talented teams; team skills are an integral part of the position as you will require multiple departments within the organization to execute the work being bid.

What you'll need:

Electrical background with experience on commercial and industrial projects.
Automation experience is an asset.
2+ years electrical estimating experience.
Strong business development and project management skills (preferred).
Journeyman electrician ticket or engineering technologist (preferred) with strong computer skills.
Ability to work alone or in a team.

Salary:
$75,000-85,000/year

Hours of Work

Hours of work will typically be Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm. Overtime and weekends if demands deem necessary.
