    What we're looking for

    The Growth Platform team is looking for a Software Engineer passionate about solving complex and challenging problems. Our team manages the company's internal A/B testing platform and the integrations with our product analytics platform.

    We're excited to provide a collaborative and supportive environment as you learn more about our team and SurveyMonkey.

    What you'll be working on

    • Help SurveyMonkey make critical data-driven decisions by developing our internal analytics tools and integrations
    • Develop our Metrics SDK and internal A/B experimentation platform
    • Write robust and testable code, contribute to technical specs, define APIs, troubleshoot issues, and perform code reviews
    • Partner with engineering, product managers, data engineering, and data scientists on the usage of our tools and data that we maintain

    We'd love to hear from people with

    • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production quality code
    • Full-stack experience, including experience with developing SDKs, libraries, web applications, and backend services
    • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of modern JavaScript and web development
    • Passion to promote best practices and engineering standards to the team and to mentor other developers
    • Strong interest in doing code reviews, writing tech specs, collaborating within and across teams, and troubleshooting issues

    Nice to have

    • Experience working with product analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc
    • Experience working with managing data quality, taxonomy, and data pipelines
    • Experience working on Growth or experimentation teams
    • Experience with working with data analysis, metrics, and data visualization
    • Experience with Python
