Parker Canada is hiring a permanent full-time
Hose Assembler in our Hose Assembly department at
our Milton location.

Assembling:

  • Visually verify that provided materials match the work order
  • Set up hose in a saw, cut and air flush the hose
  • Insert and crimp fittings
  • Label, cap and install any accessories on assemblies, per the customer order
  • Conduct pressure testing when required by the customer
  • 100% visual inspection to ensure Parker quality standards are met
  • Tracking hourly production data
  • Participating in team meetings and problem solving
  • Abiding by company and/or regulatory policies, procedures, and regulations as it pertains to the job i.e. Employee Handbook, Health & Safety Policy, WHMIS, Code of Ethics,etc.

Qualifications:


  • Successful completion of high school diploma or post secondary education
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs consistently
  • Knowledge of hose fittings and assembly procedures would be an asset
  • Knowledge of ISO procedures, Lean, 5S + S
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a part of a team

Salary:
$21.00 per hour
