About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support delivery of wood frame multi-family building projects around the Vancouver area.

This role will work directly with the leadership team to support continued development of our project pipeline, and will have the opportunity to lead to a team of Project Coordinators.

Role Description

You will oversee management oversight of all phases of the construction project, including employees, subcontractors, materials and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding with quality, on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

Oversee daytoday planning and management of multiple wood frame condo building projects, typically four to six stories with parkades underneath, and commercial units on the first floor
Manage all facets of construction including communication with owners, consultants and sub trades
Working alongside site leadership and Superintendents to determine solutions to any problems that arise
Oversee project setup, scheduling, and cost control
Direct regular site meetings with subcontractors, architects and consultants
Work with superintendents to deliver safetyoriented, on schedule, high quality projects
Prepare progress invoices/sub trade invoices; change orders to Owner and Sub trades
Project close out
Provide guidance to junior team members, including Project Managers and Project Coordinators

Skills and Requirements

Experience as a project manager on a wood frame condo building projects is a must:

Ability to manage and provide guidance for multiple projects at once
Desire to work directly with the senior leadership team and support the continuing growth of the company on a longterm basis
Proven ability to lead a dynamic team with multiple priorities
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Ability to find quick solutions and implement them proactively as problems arise daytoday
