Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing commercial performance for the Elite status program, its benefit offering, and each of its subcomponents (Threshold programs, Air Canada Million Mile, etc) including financial analysis, Business Case elaboration, KPI tracking and stakeholder negotiations.
  • Leading crossorganizational strategic planning for all corporate initiatives involving status and benefits, both internally and externally.
  • Delivering ongoing & adhoc strategic competitive benchmark analysis by regularly monitoring and understanding market trends and customer behaviours, loyalty business models and competitive positioning within the Canadian marketplace, as well as the broader loyalty and airline industry.
  • Rigorously upholding the member experience and value proposition by ensuring a strong customercentric focus in the development of new program features, while simultaneously ensuring business objectives are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other related discipline required.
  • Minimum 10 years of handson experience in airlines, loyalty, program management and/or travel industry.
  • Ability to analyze primary and secondary data to inform product decisions and strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of Aeroplan Loyalty products and programs (Aeroplan Elite, eUpgrades, Cobrand Travel Benefits, Aeroplan Threshold Programs, Air Canada Million Mile)
  • Experience working across different stakeholders from multiple disciplines.
  • Must be comfortable dealing with Aeroplan members directly on situations that often fall outside regular scope of the program.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask and manage long term projects.
  • Strong operational experience, with ability to bring ideas to fruition and support project implementations to successful completion.
  • Solid communication skills (oral & written) in English and French and ability to convey ideas to working groups within the organization.
