We are looking for a talented HR Analyst - Compensation Student to join our team for summer 2023

HR Analyst - Compensation Student.

What you will do:


Working within a challenging and diverse team-oriented environment, you'll perform meaningful and rewarding work, contributing to our organizations compensation and human resources goals.

Reporting to the Sr Compensation Consultant, this position is responsible for supporting broad-based compensation both internally and to the external marks, as well as supporting some executive compensation programs.

Working closely with the team and supporting Compensation Consultants, you'll access highly skills professional peers to guide, counsel and support your development through opportunities in the following areas:


  • Compensation Program Administration: Administers and communicates with
participants on several compensation programs including perquisites, service
awards, recognition, etc

Job Evaluation: Conducts job evaluations and supports job evaluation
administration to ensure internal levelling equity throughout the company

Market Survey Analysis: Conducts preliminary analysis towards annual market
reviews, preparing material for HR & leaders

Analysis & Reporting: Conducts ad-hoc analysis and participates in other
initiatives as required in support of the HR strategies and priorities.


What you will bring:

-
Education: Actively pursing post-secondary Commerce/Business education, in
HR or commerce field. You have taken a related HR course and are interested in
learning more about the specialty of compensation.

Experience: You may have previous experience in an analytical or
administrative role or a previous business work term and are interested in bringing
your knowledge and experience to a new opportunity.

Skills: You have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially
Excel, and enjoy working in spreadsheets. Familiarity with formulas (vlookup),
pivot tables or other functions is considered an asset.

Competencies: You have a high attention to detail and accuracy and can
handle multiple priorities while managing deadlines. You demonstrate a high
level of customer service and have great organizational skills with strong verbal
and written communication. You are a team player and enjoy collaborating with others.
