    As a Senior Software Engineer on the Swan Team, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining our software projects to meet the highest standards of quality. You should be proficient in Python and Flask, have extensive experience with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and possess the ability to quickly identify and resolve project anomalies. Candidates with experience in blockchain projects will be given preferential consideration. Reporting to the Development Manager, you will play a key role in project development, restructuring, and optimization in alignment with strategic goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop high-quality software design and architecture by leveraging your proficiency in Python, Flask, and other common frameworks.
    • Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development lifecycle.
    • Quickly diagnose and troubleshoot system anomalies, implementing fixes to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
    • Mastery of database technologies, including MySQL, MongoDB, and effective caching strategies with Redis.
    • Contribute to the development of blockchain-related projects, with a keen understanding of its principles and technologies.
    • Work closely with the Development Manager to understand project requirements, contributing to development, refactoring, and optimization efforts as needed.
    • Ensure software is up to date with the latest technologies and best practices, focusing on system sustainability and security.
    • Document development processes, code, and versions meticulously, ensuring that the team and stakeholders are aligned.

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years proven work experience as a Senior Software Engineer or similar role with a strong portfolio of successful software development projects.
    • In-depth knowledge and expertise in Python, Flask, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
    • Experience with blockchain technology is highly desirable.
    • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, quickly identify problems, and implement effective solutions.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on detail and quality.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of collaborating effectively with the Development Manager and the rest of the development team.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
