About the Position:


Key Responsibilities:


Cash management and bank administration:


  • Monitor cash liquidity by preparing cash flow forecasts, foreign exchange exposure and recommend funding actions.
  • Prepare and review credit facility draw/paydown notices, calculate interest payments to ensure accurate charges by banks.
  • Prepare or approve wire templates, wires, transfers, EFTs in accordance with policy and procedures and urgency of requests.
  • Prepare and record letters of credit (new, renewal and cancellation).
  • Execute and report foreign currency transactions.
  • Prepare and review journal entries to record cash, credit facility and foreign exchange transactions in the accounting system.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations.
  • Update cash forecast models and prepare cash management and borrowings analysis, as needed.
  • Assist with preparing quarterly and annual credit compliance packages.
  • Responsible for the endtoend process of bank account opening and closing (including completion of bank account opening documents, KYC forms and obtain approvals and signatures).
  • Update online bank access (e.g., for employee changes, bank account changes).
  • Keep banking documentation and operational procedure up to date.
  • Maintain a database of bank accounts and signatories and manage authorized signatory changes with the banks.
  • Keep up to date user access on various banking portals.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of status of treasury requests (wires, new bank accounts, etc.).
  • Train new finance team members on treasury processes (e.g., wire requests and required supporting documents).
  • Develop and keep up to date of operating procedures and key policies in respect of bank administration (including bank portals administration, wires templates set up, approvals, bank account, and etc.)
  • Prepare audit confirmations for bank accounts and loans.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses and projects, as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements opportunities.

People management

  • Supervise direct reports, if any on daytoday treasury tasks such as wire processing, call back procedures and cashflow forecast preparation.

Job Requirements:


Education and Experience:


  • University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of direct cash management, banking administration and wire processing experience
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills
  • Strong skills in Excel and Word (including pivot tables and advanced EXCEL functions)
  • Experience with accounting systems
  • Experience with Yardi is an asset
  • CTP designation is an asset

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities within timelines, and escalate issues on a timely basis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and effective interpersonal skills
  • Diligent in completing assigned work and proactively follow up when needed to ensure outstanding information or actions are complete
  • Eager to learn and expand your skillset, and comfortable adapting to changing responsibilities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to evaluate problems and are always looking for process improvement opportunities and automation wherever possible.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of integrity, diplomacy, and discretion
