    AECOM Mississauga is looking for a Railway Construction Inspector, to work on a client sites based in the Greater Toronto Area.

    Be resident at the place of work (on site) and work independently under the general direction of the contract administrator.

    Responsible for setting own project deadlines.

    Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties to ensure work is in accordance with the requirements of Contract Documents .

    Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records and address non conformances in accordance with client requirements.
    Carry out quality assurance and quality control functions to confirm contractor's adherence to the contract requirements
    Keep track of work on site and record changes for completion of as-built drawings.
    Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.

    Bachelor Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering OR Technical Diploma + 2 years relevant experience OR Highschool + 4 years relevant experience in inspection of heavy civil work in supervising construction sites, field engineering, site work inspections in the railway right of way for Class 1 railway.

    Eng. or an E I T Ontario, designation is an asset
