Description

We are a Steel Processing Plant that requires a person to help maintain the environment. We are basically looking for a "Jack of All Trades" type of person.

We would like someone who can paint and do general handyman type jobs, clean the offices and common areas of the Plant, and do other facility maintenance/repair at our site located in Stoney Creek.

General handyman jobs like painting, minor plumbing, snow clearing and salting walkways

Cleaning - will be responsible for conducting various general cleaning services in the offices and in the plant. It is a dusty environment and must be consistently maintained.

Weekly inventory of supplies

QUALIFICATIONS:
Communicate in English both written and verbally

Strong attention to detail

Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks

Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings

Works well independently and in a team environment

Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is beneficial

MUST HAVES:
Cleaning is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift/move heavy objects, standing, bending, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.

A valid "G" license and a clean driving record.

Experience with Handyman Type Tasks

Must already be legally permitted to work in Ontario, Canada

SHIFT
Full Time - Day Shift

Monday to Friday

Maintenance of Building such as painting, minor plumbing, snow clearing and salting walkways

General dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping

Cleaning of washrooms, changerooms, lunchroom, offices, refilling dispensers

Emptying garbage and recycling

Wet cleaning horizontal surfaces

Spot Cleaning of walls and glass

Sanitizing touchpoints
