Cima Mechanical is looking for an experienced Plumber to undertake a variety of plumbing tasks in support of high end construction/ renovation projects.

A successful plumber must have a thorough knowledge of plumbing code and practices. They are diligent and professional individuals with a practical mind

Responsibilities

Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
Able to pull plumbing permits and foster a good working relationship with town and municipality plumbing inspectors
Supervise and train apprentices
Install plumbing and mechanical systems
Daily Site cleanup
Complete work as designated with safety in mind, Ensure WCB/ Work Safe BC and company standards are met at all times
Manage productivity and profitability on all jobs, Maintain standards of excellence based on performance reviews

Skills

Journeyman Plumber license (Red Seal Certification is required)
4 years Proven experience as a plumber
Solid understanding of water distribution and drainage/ venting systems in residential and commercial buildings
Ability to handle standard plumbing tools and equipment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly with a great deal of patience
Good physical condition and strength with the ability to lift 75 lbs, work in awkward spaces
Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeship
Valid Driver's License and have your own reliable vehicle
