Job Description:


When joining our team, your role will consist of collaborating with members of multidisciplinary engineering teams (engineers, technicians, drafters and other team members) and working on several projects by performing tasks related to consulting engineering such as study, design, detailed engineering or commissioning.


Specifically, your internship will consist of:
Participating in the review and analysis of process schematics (PFD) and instrumentation/pipework (P&ID).
Developing mass and thermal balances with software such as Excel, Bilmat, MetSim or HSC.
Sizing process equipment.
Assisting in the development of internal tools and research in emerging technologies.
Receiving theoretical and practical training on the various phases of the work related to your field of academic knowledge.
Participating in the preparation of reports, specifications, quotations and tenders.
Performing routine field inspections or technical surveys.
Supporting engineers or technicians during performance tests or commissioning.

Assisting engineers, designers and level technicians by performing tasks that require precision in calculations and accuracy in obtaining the required data.

Requirements:

Enrolled in a university program in metallurgical or chemical engineering
Minimum knowledge of reading drawings
Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite and other relevant software


Asset:
knowledge of VBA programming


Asset:
previous experience in mineral processing (internship or in classroom)
