Within the operations department and under the responsibility of the project director, the Project manager participates in the complete completion of assigned projects (capital projects, improvements rental, construction, etc.) and ensures that it respects the scope, budget and requirements of the code and those relating to safety and health for contractors.

  • Plan and supervise the complete completion of assigned projects. For this position, the managed projects typically involve complexity, risk and exposure moderate;
  • In collaboration with project stakeholders, define the scope, results expectations and requirements;
  • Assist in the implementation of project plans;
  • Establish resource and budget requirements, cost estimates and deadlines;
  • Assess project risks and develop and implement mitigation plans and emergency response;
  • Notify appropriate stakeholders of the status of projects;
  • Ensure that projects are completed within the prescribed deadlines, in compliance with the scope, budget and requirements, and ensure that they comply with the requirements regulatory and environmental, health and safety standards;
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety management standards;
  • Participate in the administration of various contracts;
  • Contribute to the preparation of calls for tenders;
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with customers;
  • Collaborate in resolving problems, managing customer expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction;
  • Update the various files;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Hold a college diploma in architectural technology, construction or in engineering.
  • Have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a similar position.
  • LEED or PMP certification.
  • Master the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of Autocad and Microsoft Project.
  • Accreditation of a project management establishment or being in the process of obtaining it.
