  • Job SummaryReporting to the Director-Youth Justice Program Support, the Analyst is part of a small team with extensive responsibilities related to developing, analyzing, and evaluating Community Youth Justice and Youth Custody Services policy and procedures, providing support to staff, Managers and Executive, delivering/organizing training and supporting the federal cost sharing claims.

Job Requirements:


  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in related discipline of Criminology, Sociology, Social Work or other human services and completion of a Youth Probation Officer training program.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working within the community youth forensic services, and/or custody youth justice system.

Preference May Be Given to Applicants:

  • With more than 5 years' experience working within the community, youth forensic or custody services.
  • With experience at the supervisory or management level.
  • Who have experience in policy development and training.
  • Who have experience with quality assurance and responding to practice improvement.
  • Who selfidentify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit with the required combination of education and experience.

  • May require use of your own vehicle, with appropriate insurance, on an expense account basis.
  • May require flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends.

2 Positions available.
This position can be based in any Ministry of Children and Family Development office.
