Job SummaryReporting to the Director-Youth Justice Program Support, the Analyst is part of a small team with extensive responsibilities related to developing, analyzing, and evaluating Community Youth Justice and Youth Custody Services policy and procedures, providing support to staff, Managers and Executive, delivering/organizing training and supporting the federal cost sharing claims.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in related discipline of Criminology, Sociology, Social Work or other human services and completion of a Youth Probation Officer training program.
Minimum of 5 years' experience working within the community youth forensic services, and/or custody youth justice system.

Preference May Be Given to Applicants:

With more than 5 years' experience working within the community, youth forensic or custody services.
With experience at the supervisory or management level.
Who have experience in policy development and training.
Who have experience with quality assurance and responding to practice improvement.
Who selfidentify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit with the required combination of education and experience.

May require flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends.

This position can be based in any Ministry of Children and Family Development office.
