Job Description:

The Suspense Account Analyst is responsible suspense account reconciliations ensuring outstanding items are cleared on a timely basis


Accountabilities:


  • Balance GWL/LL/CL Individual Suspense accounts and ensuring outstanding entries cleared on timely basis
  • Complete open items process for GWL/LL/CL accounts
  • Complete Quarterly interim statements
  • Process return cheques for LL, GWL & CL

Qualifications and Competencies:


  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of accounting practices
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Change adaptive ability to thrive in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to start work regularly at 8:00am
  • Flexibility to work overtime occasionally if available
  • Familiarity with LL mainframe, GWL mainframe (for prolific vouchers), Ingenium 5.4 and 7.7 and New Business Now (NBN) systems
  • Able to work with spreadsheets within Microsoft Excel
