    Description
    Assist with continuous improvement and analysis of Ag operations including field trials. Systems analysis, modeling, and forecasting.

    Pursue Ag Division continuous improvement in all areas through the application of advanced technology, design, and analysis while applying the following concepts:

    Develops project objectives and proposals by conferring with management and modeling process.


    Determines project specifications by studying design, stakeholder requirements, and performance standards; completing technical reports; Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases, elements, and associated departments; Determines project schedule by studying plan & specifications; Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; Controls project by reviewing design, specifications & plan; Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; Confirms product performance by designing and conducting trials.

    Maintains project database by compiling performance data; entering and backing up data.

    Ability to frequently move about in the farming fields. Ability to frequently move about inside the office. Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment.


    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:
    BS Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience required


    Experience:
    Entry-level technical project experience including analysis, problem identification and solution proposal and execution. Principles of mechanical, hydraulic, structural steel design and DC electrical systems. Principles of project management. Principles of statistical analysis and operations process analysis and documentation. Excellent communication and observation/analysis skills; excellent solid model drafting ability, preferably with AutoCAD Inventor. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

    Must possess technical writing skills. Ability to adhere to and facilitate company policies. Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus. Must be willing/able to travel overnight as necessary and work hours as required. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean DMV driving record.
