WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Beginner or mid level operator who is looking to gain experience and improve their skills:
A team player, will do what is needed from them to get the job done daily:
Splitting time labouring and operating depending on what is needed to complete the sitework:
- Operates heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Organized and selfmotivated
Looks to continually improve:
- Enjoys taking on challenges, solving problems and finding the best possible solution
Completes tasks with a sense of urgency and attention to detail:
- Strong communication skills
- Must have G license or equivalent; AZ or DZ licenses will be considered a strong asset.
- Must be reliable, flexible, and have a positive attitude.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Operate a variety of equipment in the Thoume Construction fleet to efficiently complete each project.
- Daily maintenance and visual inspection of equipment, including checking fluid levels, greasing equipment and shovelings tracks
Read and interpret construction plans in order to carry out required tasks:
- Coordinate with your team members to develop a safe and efficient plan to complete required tasks for each project
Excavate foundations to grade, backfilling and compacting around foundations:
Trenching for sewer, water, storm and electrical services at grade:
Grading topsoil with the use of a mini ex, dozer and skid steer:
- Completing all tasks in a safe and healthy manner according to company policies and procedures
Working long hours, 5 days a week:
- Doing what is needed to get the job done on schedule
