Compugen is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

Works closely with Data architects, Business analysts, Data Warehouse team, and Business intelligence developers to establish longterm solution data models to support enterprise reporting & analytics.
Develops technical documents related to components for all data modeling related projects
Exposure to Power BI (to support report development)

Qualifications:

Background in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
Experience with data modeling tools such as SAP Power Designer, IDERA
Understanding SQL databases on Azure (cloud) and onpremise
Experience in translating business requirements to data models for easy report development
Handson experience with data modeling and translating business needs into longterm solution data models (strong background and experience in conceptual, logical and physical modeling, as well as strong knowledge and experience in relational and dimensional modeling).
Handson experience on optimizing and updating existing data models.
Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
Experience evaluating new & legacy data systems in order to help data mapping and to ensure consistency and crosscompatibility amongst multiple data sources for Business Intelligence reporting purposes.
Knowledge of database design, mathematical foundations and statistical analysis.
Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
