The Manager of Sourcing and Quality Analytics oversees and conducts the conversion of data into insights that will lead to informed business decisions.

Working directly with management and executives within the Global Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality Control and Sales Analytics departments to provide analytics and insights, create reports and provide recommendations to improve ROI and create efficiencies.

The Manager of Sourcing and Quality Analytics will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives, and will handle multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritize work, and remain functional under pressure and timelines.


Reporting to the Director of Supplier Development, the Manager of Sourcing and Quality Analytics works within the Supplier Development Department and across the business to understand the functional and data requirements of the business.

The Manager of Sourcing and Quality Analytics develops logical and conceptual data flows that are in support of departmental project requirements and guides various product-sourcing and quality improvement projects through the appropriate and effective use of data.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead development of structured analyses, utilizing multiple data sources to identify opportunities to enhance our product and vendor mix to meet operational & commercial objectives
  • Lead complex analytics projects in an agile environment; ensure team collaboration with multiple partners.
  • Manage the overall projects and influence sourcing and quality managers to implement data and analytics based ideas and solutions.
  • Support and execute change management activities across business departments based on data analysis
  • Create models to analyze product sourcing processes and critical metrics, maintain and implement monitoring systems based on these models to produce datadriven business recommendations for company growth.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across the Supplier Development department to provide analysis and insight to solve challenging problems and identify opportunities,
  • Presenting insights effectively to spur organizational leadership into action.
  • Drive the analysis of organizational and business needs as required for long range planning and budgeting
  • Provide leadership to the development and implementation of common data management, interactive data visualization, targetsetting, benchmarking, and improvement
  • Manage a team to Develop and Maintain Product Cost Forecast, Perform cost scenario analysis, and benchmarking
  • Define target product costs through product cost validation, comparison and analysis
  • Develop and Maintain Product and Supplier Quality dashboards
  • Developing information management methods in order to optimize the use of data
  • Evaluating future investments for cost/benefit analysis
  • Reviewing and monitoring the status of sourcing and quality investments
  • Investigate and report Trends of Material Costs, Exchange Rates, Duty Rates and quality performance
  • Support the negotiation of supplier contracts, through pricing, product, supplier and category level analysis

Qualification Requirements

  • Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling daytoday operational requests from the business
  • Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills

  • Must have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and in working with large data sets
