About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Proactively communicate and collaborate with business system owners and end users to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
Perform and review system configurations to ensure the configuration of the functional modules align with the designed business processes and perform updates as required.
Act as the liaison between Finance, Operational business units, Technology teams and Vendors.
Facilitate the collection of business requirements, understand, analyze and translate them into system requirements, configurations and customizations.

Experience/Qualifications

Strong knowledge of core ERP enabled business cycles, more specifically accounting, procurement and accounts payables cycles.
Capable of working in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines; able to work effectively in ambiguous or changing situations; ability to manage time effectively.
Ability to identify problems and deal with situations and issues proactively.
Demonstrate a critical and creative mindset with all new requests received from stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a conscientious, consistent and thorough manner.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
Functional experience with ERP systems such as IFS, D365, SAP would be considered an asset.
English is essential; working knowledge of French would be considered an asset.
Between 2 and 5 years of professional experience in a finance/accounting role or similar experience as a Junior Business Analyst, serving mainly the accounting/finance group is required
Finance, Accounting or related degree would be considered a strong asset
Computer Science experience with formal training in the areas of ERP systems would be considered an asset

Note:
Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield's identity. This position requires the employee to be on-site for a minimum of 3 days to perform most effectively. We will reassess the approach on a as needed basis.
