Job Description:

We are looking for an IAM Technical Specialist to join the Identity and Access Management (IAM) technical solutions team, to lead and deliver the design, development, implementation, and support of IAM technologies, processes, and workflows within Canada Life.

On a day-to-day basis, the role focuses on supporting the Director of IAM Technical solutions and working with a scrum team of Business Systems Analysts, SailPoint IIQ developers, QA Testers, and IAM engineers to design and deliver capability enhancements to our Identity and Access Management program.

The position requires expert knowledge of the IAM Discipline, as well as the associated risk controls and best practices. Strong, hands-on experience with scripting and development for the SailPoint IIQ platform is needed.

The role also requires innovation and thought leadership to participate in the prioritization of IAM activities, propose strategies to achieve the team's goals, develop/refine associated IAM workflows, and discover new automation opportunities

This position is being offered in Toronto or London, Ontario and/or Winnipeg, Manitoba

What you will do

Work with Technology Risk Management team and IAM Management team to understand and plan remediation of organizational IAM capability and process control gaps
Liaise with internal Application teams to determine the maturity level of their IAM capabilities/processes and provide guidance on building actionable plans to address the gaps.
Work with IAM management team to identify, design and plan organizational IAM capabilities, tools and processes
Work with IAM scrum teams to deploy and support new and existing IAM tools and capabilities.

What you will bring

56 years of experience working in an IAMrelated team, showing a clear career progression in capabilities and responsibilities
45 years of experience in Information Security organizations
35 years of handson technical experience deploying, maintaining, and supporting SailPoint IIQ
24 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell or Python
Good Knowledge of software development practices, concepts, and technology
