About the Role
As a member of the Sales team, the Account Manager will be responsible for a blend of outside sales and customer service focused on growing sales through existing and new business.
Working in a fast-paced environment, they will provide clients with sales and rental information and put together quotes in SAP projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire new business accounts in your specified territory
- Make sales calls, presentation demonstrations of products
- Followup on leads and close new business opportunities
- Provide accurate quotes for sales and rentals
- Ability to communicate with many people on different levels of business
- Process and capture sales and rentals in SAP / HubSpot
- Answer customer inquiries about traffic control regulations and products
- Arrange deliveries for product sales and rentals
- Load trucks for customers and deliveries when needed
- Participate and represent the company at trade shows, seminars and marketing events
- Ability to present a professional image and interact positively with our customers
- Interpret tender documentation for accurate project quoting and management
- Perform cold calls in the field and on the phone for sales when necessary
- Have well prepared weekly travel plans set up a month in advance on a rotational calendar
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SAP / HubSpot is considered an asset
- Able to thrive in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Selfmotivated and able to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum three years of customer service or sales experience
- Good time management with an ability to prioritize and multitask
- Knowledge of road construction and/or traffic control industry is a strong asset
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly
