Maritime Electric Company, Limited is seeking candidates for the position of Power Line Technician.
Maritime Electric has an immediate opening for a Power Line Technician for our Central District location (Charlottetown, PEI as base location). In this position, the Power Line Technician is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical and telecommunication line equipment.
The successful candidate will have graduated as a Power Line Technician from an accredited Indentured/Apprenticeship Program (Red Seal) and be in possession of a valid Class 3 A license. As the successful candidate, you will have demonstrated a sound working technical knowledge of line construction and associated electrical work.
The pay rate is $46.29 per hour, representing the full hourly rate after the probationary period. In addition, Maritime Electric also has a competitive benefit offering including the following: participation in the Maritime Electric Group RRSP and Benefit Program, Employee Share Purchase Plan and a Wellness Allowance. For details on other related terms and conditions, please view the current Local 1928 Unit 10 IBEW Collective Agreement.
