Lead Production Administrator to join our team in
Swift Current, SK.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Lead Production Administrator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations on the production floor by anticipating, understanding, and responding to the needs of production.


Job Overview:


  • Provide administrative assistance to production in a confidential and professional manner
  • Assist the Operations Manager with daytoday functions
  • Support the Production Supervisors in certain areas as required
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others both internally and externally to achieve the goals of production Communication
  • Ensure that all required transactions are kept current, and recorded accurately
  • Create various forms/spreadsheets, and/or revising existing forms/spreadsheets
  • Data entry, including timecards when required
  • Assist with creating proposals for production improvements
  • Investigate, followup on, and enter nonconformance in Q-Pulse
  • Initiate IPR's and ECR's as required
  • Initiate shop supply orders with the purchaser
  • Post weekly production reports (standard times and indirect time)
  • Review VMI reports and investigate where necessary

Requirements:


  • Minimum of Grade 12 Diploma, or equivalent
  • Training in office work, business administration, or education in related field
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Must be accurate and detail oriented
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Good command of both written and oral English communication skills
  • Positive and cooperative team player
  • Capable of working with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
