Position Summary

  • The Product Operations department is looking for a Lead Project Manager for a 12 month contract.


Our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software AccuroEMR has the largest adoption in Canada and serves thousands of providers and millions of patients.

Our patient platform Medeo leverages that market penetration and connects patients to their healthcare providers.

Our other supporting products round out a robust offering, connecting healthcare providers to their patients, their data and each other.

As we continue to build up new and exciting interactions between our products and other healthcare organizations in the industry, we are looking for a passionate leader who is motivated to be an integral driver of innovation in healthcare technologies in Canada.


Aiding innovative new products to launch, supporting existing in market products with major new features being deployed, and supporting an established active EMR market space, an evolving active consumer market space, a growing partnership stream and much more means that there are always varying and interesting projects to manage.

On-boarding new partners to our platform, managing customer integrations, release management (internal readiness and market roll out), large scale product deployments, government conformance, and Privacy and Security Assessments are but a few examples of the types of projects which initiate on a regular basis.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of project managers and project coordinators within a defined organizational segment
  • Support in the definition, revision and implementation of repeatable processes for project intake, execution and completion
  • Provide guidance and insight into project management strategies and best practices
  • Oversee creation of project documentation within a defined organizational segment
  • Cultivate knowledge and expertise in project management
  • Leading Project Portfolio planning, resourcing and reporting efforts within your team
  • Appoint & recruit resources within your team
  • Maintain a personal portfolio of projects, adhering to the responsibilities of a QHR Project Manager, including, but not limited to
  • Define the scope of a project in collaboration with project stakeholders
  • Create detailed project plans which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete the project
  • Develop schedules for project completion
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion of the project
  • Establish communication schedules to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization
  • Write reports on the project for management and stakeholders
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
  • Coordinate with other Project Managers and internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage risk associated with project activities
  • Conduct project retrospectives, document lessons learned and recommend process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations for the project/initiative

Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience
  • Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP, AgilePM)
  • Demonstrated success in project delivery across multiple teams
  • Degree or diploma in business, computer science, engineering or related field of study
  • Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban software delivery methods
  • Degree or diploma in business, computer science, engineering or related field of study
Compensation and Logistics

  • Base salary, variable bonus established at the corporate level, competitive benefits package
  • 12month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent based on business needs
  • Minimal travel required (estimated 02 trips per year local or cross Canada)
