Northern College is seeking a Professor, Business to teach in our School of Business in the program areas of Supply Chain Management, Information Systems Business Analysis, Global Entrepreneurship & Technology and/or Project Management.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated problem solver with sound communication, interpersonal, teamwork, problem solving and computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite). and methodologies would be an asset.

Teaching and/or training experience with evidence of demonstrated application of adult and distance learning principles, as well as experience with Universal Design for Learning in building teaching/assessment strategies, curriculum design and development would be an asset.

Professional business designations such as, PMP, CHRP/CHRL, CIM, CFA, FITT, SCMP, are an asset. Master of Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a business-related profession is also an asset.

Reporting to the Dean, Business the successful candidate will be expected to act as an academic advisor to students in the program, participate as a leader and effective team member working in groups at the college, create a positive teaching and learning environment, using a variety of strategies and materials in the multi-modal delivery of courses.

In addition, the successful candidate must ensure currency and relevance of the teaching material and assessment techniques, must participate in recruitment and program promotion initiatives, and participate in professional development activities at Northern College relevant to his/her own needs.

Bachelor of Business Administration, Commerce, Information Systems or Computer Science degree, or a related field, is required; Five (5) years of experience in a relevant field (i

e:
