We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team located in North York, ON.


Responsibilities:


As a
Sales Manager specializing in food-grade packaging, specifically PET Cups and Lids, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing customer relationships within the food packaging industry.

You will work closely with clients, distributors, and internal teams to achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth and profitability of the business.


  • Primary responsibility is to achieves sales.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and prioritize key markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market insights to refine sales approaches.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and generating leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to close sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Lead and motivate a sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
  • Set sales targets and monitor individual and team performance against goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to optimize sales efforts.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.
  • Monitor sales trends, market conditions, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales strategies and processes.

Requirements Experience:


  • Previous experience as a Sales Manager or similar role within the food packaging industry, specializing in pet cups and lids is preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of foodgrade packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Leadership abilities to effectively manage a sales team and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make datadriven decisions.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit manufacturing facilities.
