Description

The Adult Enrichment Center provides quality services to individuals age years, who struggle with (either/or/combined) mental health /addictions/behavioural/ developmental disabilities.


Job duties and responsibilities:


  • Working within a Day Program setting with adults with developmental disabilities
  • Administer medication
  • Complete daily tasks and activities of living
  • Liaise with community partners and medical professionals
  • Manage behaviours and diffuse situations as needed
  • Provide a safe and caring home environment
  • Follow protocols created by clinicians
  • Accompany on outings
  • Daily documentation
  • Report to Site Manager

Requirements:


  • Criminal Record Check
  • First Aid and CPR
  • COVID19 Proof of Vaccination (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Flexible Work Schedule
**Minimum of 2year diploma DSW or PSW

**French is required


Job Types:
Part-time, Casual


Salary:
From $23.86 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Night shift
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Greater Sudbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Working with children: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) (preferred)
  • CPR Certification (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
