The Pursuit Specialist supports the proposals and estimation team to deliver high quality proposals and marketing initiatives in support of existing and new business opportunities.


In addition, your role will be to:

  • Lead the coordination of pursuits i.e. RFP/RFI/RFQ/SOQ responses and submittals lifecycle.
  • Determine scopes of work by identifying and clarifying client's opportunities and needs, studying requests from internal and external clients, and attending strategy meetings.
  • Identify, communicate and support managing risks associated with quotes and proposals.
  • Develop new content and maintain existing material for pursuits deliverables specific to client requirements.
  • Coordinate internal requirements for proposal creation, specifically pertaining to the level of effort required for a workplan.
  • Maintain department quality control, assurance, and best practices by using templates, following quotewriting standards, and maintaining support databases.
  • Maintain department estimating standards and audit past projects to adjust and/or refine costing models and assumptions.
  • Assist with lead generation, marketing tasks, and identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Administer and maintain Canacre's CRM system.
  • Support marketing initiatives to effectively demonstrate Canacre's services and products.
  • Implement annual sales and marketing strategies established by the executive team.

Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary Degree in Business, Science, or other related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 year relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in providing estimates of level of effort is considered an asset.
  • Experience in consulting is considered an asset.
  • Experience with MS Project is considered an asset.
  • Experience with ArcGIS is considered an asset.
  • Excellent professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Excellent math, analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in

Microsoft Suite:
Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.

  • Proficient in
Salesforce or other CRM.
