- Reporting to the SVP of Global Marketing and Communications, working with a cross-discipline marketing team to develop and execute a communication strategy.
- Interviewing internal leaders, partners, and customers as primary research into ESG initiatives and their results.
- Writing and/or editing copy for various communications channels within the brand voice.
- Collecting invoices (utilities/fuel) from our global offices to support ESG reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information on ESG initiatives, achievements, and ongoing projects as the basis for a comprehensive ESG communications strategy.
- Craft clear and compelling messages that resonate with internal and external stakeholders, emphasizing the company's dedication to sustainability and responsible business practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the features and capabilities of the company's products and services that contribute to customers' ESG objectives.
- Identify and articulate the specific ways in which the technology addresses environmental impact, social responsibility, and governance standards as part of a solid communications strategy.
- Work closely with other members of the marketing team to integrate ESG-related messaging into the value proposition, product literature, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Engage with customers to understand their ESG goals and challenges and how the ORBCOMM technology can help.
- Identify new use cases and success stories to drive the Voice of the Customer.
- Support the collection of information required to assess the company's ESG progress year over year.
- Drive the preparation of ORBCOMM's annual ESG report.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and standards for ESG reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and influencers covering ESG and technology topics.
- Proactively pitch ESG-related stories to relevant media outlets to secure coverage.
- Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and media briefings to highlight the company's ESG initiatives and technological advancements.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders.
- Cultivate relationships with other GI Partners' portfolio companies ESG professionals to support knowledge sharing and the learning of best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of marcom or marketing experience in the technology sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with technology and the ability to translate technical details into accessible, compelling narratives.

- Ability to work independently and manage projects.
