Description
A progressive, well-established Community Home Builder is expanding its team to include the position of
Warranty Manager.

Reporting to the Construction Lead, you will be given the responsibility of professionally managing the homeowner experience from closing to end of the Tarion warranty period.

Celebrating 50 years, Honeyfield Communities is committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of the people who purchase our homes and the communities in which we operate.

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for the residential Home Building industry and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the community and the customers we serve.

The Role:

  • Professionally manage all warranty and service requests from Homeowners.
  • Determine if service requests meet Tarion's requirements for warranty coverage including site visits as required. This requires detailed knowledge of Tarion's Warranty Claim Process including timelines for submitting claims and Tarion's Construction Performance Guidelines. Investigate and research as required for any service requests to ensure proper communication and approach is made at the outset.
  • Schedule and supervise After Sales Service Technician for service work that Trades and Vendors will not be undertaking.
  • Coordinate and Schedule all Service related work required to be completed to company standard by Trades and Vendors in a timely manner well in advance of all Tarion timelines.
  • Input all Service Requests from homeowners (whether deemed warrantable or not) using Newstar Warranty Service Program database.
  • Complete closing inspections to ensure all PDI & QC items are closed.
  • Ensure accurate records are filed for all work and correspondence with homeowners.
  • Provide education to homeowners where applicable on mechanical components and other features of their new home.
  • Provide a BestinClass customer experience to all Honeyfield homeowners.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Previous experience working for a small to mid-size new home builder in the warranty and customer service department is an asset.

Much like the communities we build, individuality, community, and diversity are the hallmarks of our office culture. All the members of our team have different backgrounds and experiences.

Whether it's during work hours or after hours, we foster a positive and collaborative environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued.
