Eaton's ESSG CA Canada division is currently seeking an
Outside Sales Representative to join our South West Ontario Sales team.

(
Hybrid)

This position will service customers in Western Ontario area (Windsor, Sarnia, Chatham).

Travel: 50%

What you'll do:

The
Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving assigned Sales and Orders objectives for applicable Eaton products and services, focusing on key existing and target accounts within the Western Ontario Industrial/OEM and Construction markets.

You'll also manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance to distributors, customers, contractors, and consultants, to drive sustainable sales growth.

In this function, you will:

Achieve team Orders and Sales goals.
Cultivate customer, channel, and internal relationships.
Implement sales plans and growth strategies, to achieve annual performance objectives.
Promote Eaton products and services to optimize sales volume, product mix, and profitability.
Provide technical assistance to customers and distributors.
Prepare sales proposals and value propositions to satisfy customer needs and expectations.
Understand, and be responsive to, market conditions and competitive activities; Communicate such information internally to drive corrective actions and inform Regional & District strategies.
Maintain cooperative and credible working relationships with internal personnel, to consistently exceed customer expectations.
Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values as well as Safety and Environmental standards.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

High School diploma from an accredited institution.
Minimum of three (3) years of sales experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of technical experience in the electrical industry.
Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
Valid Driver License

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering Technology, Power Systems Engineering, or related field
P Eng. or CET designation, Business Degree

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Professional presence and effective presentation skills.
Electrical industry experience.
Intimate knowledge of the GTA Residential / Commercial Construction market.
Experience closing large orders in both single and multicontractor (spec/bid/buy) scenarios.
Proven ability to develop and deploy strategies to deliver customerfocused solutions.
Demonstrated competency in contributing to the success of the team.
Analytical aptitude, ability to think critically with proven problemsolving skills.
Desire to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Savvy negotiator, adept at navigating and attaining mutually agreeable resolution to conflict.
