Guardian Veterinary Centre's is currently welcoming
Veterinary Technician Assistants to support our team - we work with an incredible team of CSR's, Technicians and Veterinarians.


A few key responsibilities:

• Caring for patients and providing them with a comfortable, clean and safe environment, providing basic necessities such as food and water, and taking the patients for walks when appropriate
• Assisting our team during CPR and providing essential help with our critical care patients training provided
• Completing and signing off on cleaning tasks within the hospital
• Disinfecting supplies and instruments in a timely matter
• Maintaining an organized and tidy environment to keep our hospital running as efficiently as possible
• Stocking cupboards and drawers with appropriate supplies, towels, blankets, etc.
• Communicating with clients on the phone and in person

Qualifications:

• Ability to multitask and complete tasks in an efficient and thorough manner
• Previous experience within a hospital or within an animal care role not required but preferable
• Caring and confident communication skills
• Team player
• Must be comfortable working with various animals such as dogs, cats, wildlife and exotics such as reptiles and small animals.
• 18 years or older
