MAINTENANCE HELPER - CONTINENTAL NIGHT SHIFT

VAUGHAN, ONTARIO

We're Hiring for Continental Night Shift
Continental Night Shift: 8:00pm - 8:00am

Starting Salary: $21.50 /hour
Continental Night Shift Premium: $1.00 /hour
Work 7 (12 hour) days every 2 weeks
Work every other weekend
Unionized position

What We Are Looking For:

1+ year of experience working in a Maintenance department in an Industrial Manufacturing setting
Enrolled in or completion of an Industrial Mechanical Millwright Apprenticeship Program or equivalent
Strong mechanical knowledge and electrical knowledge an asset
Experience working with pumps, motors, conveying equipment, hydraulic equipment and large industrial machines is considered an asset
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Working knowledge of local and Canadian electrical and safety codes is considered an asset
Knowledge of electrical, PLC programming, and motor controls is considered an asset
Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and manuals for equipment
Problemsolve and execute solutions, preferably in a fastpaced manufacturing/industrial environment
Manage multiple tasks and prioritize while staying organized
Work with crossfunctional team members
Work 7 (12 hour) days every 2 weeks
Lift up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
Work every other weekend
Stand for 12hour shifts
Unionized position
Work at heights (training will be provided)
Demonstrated leadership and work ethic
Adapt to changing priorities and working conditions
Experience using Maintenance Software programs
Counterbalance forklift certification and experience is considered an asset
Welding Certification an asset
Elevated work platform certification an asset
Clear criminal record check required
