This is a new role that will combine a focus on program management of Supplier Management for Total Rewards and global Recognition programs (i.e., Applause using Achievers).


A highly cross-functional role, this position requires strong project management, collaboration and influencing skills across the organization while building and maintaining key partnerships with various external stakeholders and vendors.

It requires both independent work and collaboration.


What will you do?
Supplier Management [~50%]

  • Acts as the Central SRM (Supplier Relationship Manager), supporting TPRM (Thirdparty risk management) Policy compliance and related processes within Total Rewards under the direction of the Director, Enterprise Total Rewards and in alignment with the overall HR Governance mandate.
  • Coordinates annual thirdparty contract management planning in partnership with the Director, Enterprise Total Rewards and the Total Rewards Leadership Team; provides quarterly status updates.
  • Coordinates and/or executes due diligence with appropriate leaders and relevant stakeholders based on the delegation model. Assures timeliness, quality, and completeness of all contracts for Total Rewards.
  • Coordinates and executes contracts, including contract drafting while following all applicable due diligence, files and maintains supplier contracts in database, coordinates contract renewals and termination agreements.
  • Escalates any identified issues, gaps and policy noncompliances to the accountable executive and program manager and assures corrective actions are taken.
  • Actively manages and monitors supplier risk, including coordination with relevant stakeholders and SMEs that provides support throughout the contract lifecycle.
Recognition [~50%]

  • Coordinates and implements employee recognition programs/activities that cut across the organization.
  • Collaborates and partners with various stakeholders (e.g., HR Technology, HR Services) to support the implementation of vendor enhancements and new vendor platforms for recognition.
  • Develops and maintains recognition dashboards and metrics to measure outcomes (i.e., participation, engagement, cost, etc.).
  • Liaises effectively with other departments and business groups to ensure a positive employee experience. Coordinates periodic meetings with Business Group Representatives to build crossBusiness Group alignment/opportunities, share best practices and stay current with vendor relationship and any challenges.
  • Acts as primary contact with Recognition partners (primarily Achievers for its Applause program) to manage daytoday service levels and troubleshoot problems.
  • Assists other business areas in joining Applause and other platforms as appropriate.
  • Identifies improvement opportunities to existing processes (i.e., through external trends or interviewing internal stakeholders), and monitors and optimizes current usage.
  • Tracks all costs including spending of points to ensure it aligns with Business Group commitments.

Notes/Unique Requirements

  • On an adhoc basis this role may be engaged in supporting other total rewards processes (i.e., data governance) or conducting analyses and developing reports.
  • Occasional schedule adjustments to working hours to accommodate meetings with stakeholders located in different time zones, including Asia

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree or similar collegelevel diploma, preferably in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 35 years of project management within an HR/ Supplier Management/Governance and/or related function.
  • General knowledge of supplier management and governance/ risk management would be an asset.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to develop supporting tools and materials.
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to develop/maintain dashboards, track/report on budgets, and analyze/manipulate data sets.
  • Strong Power Point, writing and communication skills with the ability to share relevant information to executive audience to support informing and decision making.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, organize and accomplish objectives independently and proactively.
  • Curious, proactive mindset a must.
