Outside Sales Representative - Edmonton, Canada - WestExcel Automation

Description

We are currently looking to fill the position of Outside Sales Representative for the Alberta Territory, based in Calgary or Edmonton.

This role is responsible for promoting and selling products and services to existing and potential customers through cold calling and personal sales calls to customer sites on a regular basis.

• Establish and maintain customer relationships in order to grow profitable sales.
• Stay current on existing and emerging product and technologies.
• Introduce and demonstrate new products to assigned accounts.
• Followup on generated quotations and document the outcome of the proposed solution.
• Report competitive conditions and feedback from customers through regular sales call reporting.
• Develop and maintain a sales forecast to help analyze market conditions and/or changes in assigned territory for maximum productivity and sales growth.
• Implement a sales plan to support sales targets.

• Minimum three years relevant sales and industry experience.
• Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Developed knowledge of the industry within a given market.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats, including sales presentations, demonstrated capability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships and work in a team environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• A valid driver's license and proven safe driving record.
• Knowledge of HVAC, commercial building BMS or relevant wholesale industry experience considered an asset.
