Job Description:

HSS is a services company that supports a portfolio of B2B and B2C brands. We have a new, exciting opportunity for a Marketing Services Manager, Canada Residential supporting IKO Industries.

Essential Job Functions

  • Act as primary internal point of contact for all marketing work for their assigned client (IKO Canadian Residential).
  • Work at the direction of the Marketing Services Group Director to identify goals, conduct discovery and cull out insights to assist with developing strategy and budget for their client, to ladder up to the overall IKO marketing plan.
  • Recommend ongoing marketing channel tactics that meet strategic marketing goals for their client, including but not limited to, tradeshows, advertising, public relations, social media, events, direct mail and sales literature.
  • Oversee and manage execution of entire marketing plan for client, including development and management of project schedules, resources, vendors and budget.
  • Coordinate work with Creative Services department and print production vendors, including development of briefs, timelines, status sheets and other project documents.
  • Oversee content development to ensure consistency of key messages pertaining to their BU.
  • Act as internal "traffic" liaison, utilizing internal project management systems (in Motion) and department SOPs to ensure projects stay on time and on budget.
  • Manage inventory and fulfillment of all printed materials developed for their client (outsourced to thirdparty vendors), as well as maintain print and electronic libraries of all produced marketing materials.
  • Partner with other client managers within the greater HSS marketing organization for collaboration and planning.
  • Understand, implement and enforce corporate brand guidelines.
  • Research and communicate client success stories, projects, products and innovations.
  • Evaluate program performance and recommend optimizations against strategic plans.
  • Manage coordination, execution and followup analysis of related customer events and trade shows.
  • Manage relationships with internal teams and external agencies and suppliers. Oversee delivery, service and channel feedback as required.

Required Education/Experience

  • BA in Communications/Marketing, Journalism, English or related focus preferred.
  • 5+ years successfully performing the planning, directing, executing of communications to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to direct inhouse and agency resources via established production tools and processes to achieve strategic objectives (creative briefs, workflow software, work in progress meetings, etc.).
  • Proven communications skills with a demonstrated ability to research, analyze, plan and execute in the areas of: message development, copy development, employee communications, customer communications, meetings management, and communications effectiveness measurement.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Strong writing skills, able to adapt for the medium and the audience (e.g. writing for social, the web, brochures, etc.).
Additional/Preferred Requirements
