We are currently seeking to fill a
Summer Student - Customer Service Support position in our Distribution Services business unit at our Edmonton office.

Distribution Services is an area within the trucking industry that works to bridge road and rail transportation in the successful, and timely, delivery of goods.

Our Edmonton site is a multi-commodity hot spot for liquid transload (transferring liquid products from truck to rail car), dry bulk, open deck as well as heavy haul services.

Position Details:

Reporting to the Manager, Customer Services, the
Student Customer Service Support will work within a team of Customer Service Specialists to help maintain organization and complete administrative tasks during our busy period.

This opportunity will give you experience working in an office setting, training on trucking software and exposure to an exciting area of business here at Kleysen and in the Trucking industry as well as a professional reference to add to your resume.

This position will be full-time, Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and is anticipated to end August 30, 2024.

Job Duties:

Handling remote paperwork management for Calgary Distribution Centre Customer Service team,
Handle inbound paperwork from third party trucks,
Updating planner with arrival/departure times,
Signing BOL's and uploading POD's to transapp,
Record management: filing, scanning documents, and downloading pictures for records.
Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment,
Comfortable learning new systems and working with MS Office,
Experience and accuracy with data entry and file management,
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced, detail focused environment.
