This role presents an opportunity to join an exciting segment of the healthcare industry and one of the world's leading healthcare companies.

You will be part of the Ethicon sales team in British Columbia and through relationship building with customers and collaboration with an Account Specialist determine how Ethicon's products and solutions can support our customers' needs.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Attainment of sales/market share objectives
  • Execution of national/regional/local promotional activities and programs for Ethicon Endomechanical, Hemostasis, Energy, and Wound Closure products
  • Collaboration with Account Specialist to implement account plans, develop clinical relationships and provide case coverage and support
  • Call on existing and prospective customers while delivering product information and outstanding customer experience
  • Operate within an assigned territory budget and adhere to assigned administrative duties
  • Provide insights on customers, promotional programs, and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace
  • Work with members of the regional sales team to improve performance and enhance morale. They will interact with sales and marketing management to refine product and market initiatives

Qualifications:


Qualifications:


  • A minimum of a University Degree in business, statistics or health sciences is preferred
  • Sales, marketing or related experience is required
  • Medical device industry experience a strong asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Proven leadership required
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; able to understand complex clinical trial data is required with ability to communicate this information to different types of customers
  • The individual must be an excellent collaborator and problem solver who demonstrates a strong ability to take initiative. Creative thinking and problem solving is required
  • The individual will have the ability to balance multiple projects effectively and have an overall understanding of the Canadian healthcare environment
  • Up to 50% travel may be required
  • A valid driver's license is required
