Reporting directly to President of Puratos Canada, as the Director of Business Development your mission is to envision and execute a comprehensive strategy for our fruit and crème fillings and channels, fostering collaboration with business development and operations teams.
Director, Business Development Fruit FillingsDeliver the Fraser Valley Business Plan by 2028 (including US)
# Market Analysis:
Strategic Planning:
Developing and implementing strategies to achieve business unit goals aligned with the overall company objectives.
# Product Development:
Building and managing strategic partnerships to enhance the business unit's reach and capabilities.
# Financial Management:
Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis to ensure the business unit's financial health.
# Providing leadership and guidance to the business unit team, and the Fraser Valley site, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
# Performance Monitoring:
Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitoring performance against set targets.
# Risk Management:
Identifying and mitigating potential risks that may impact the business unit's success.
# Proven experience in business development and sales, with a focus on building and maintaining customer relationships. 5+ years in the food industry and preferably US/Canada market. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) for customer visits and other business development activities. An understanding of financial management, manufacturing processes, operational excellence and product to ensure growth realization.
