Position Summary


The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Operations department on multiple tasks, including booking of trucks, raw material ordering, Inventory transfer and price ticket issuance and approvals.

Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information for reporting purposes. Provide a support to the Customer Service Team


Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Preparing and sorting documents for data entry.
  • Compiling and verifying accuracy; sorting information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Managing excel spreadsheets for every order to ensure extensions requested are captured for data analysis.
  • Processing internal transfers and providing support to Inventory control team with all required documents.
  • Assisting Customer Service team to create Item templates for customers.
  • Act as a back up for the Customer Service team for order processing and allocations when required.
  • Conducting and organizing counts for yearend inventory between all locations.
  • Closing of monthly bulk orders.
  • Resolving discrepancies in order information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents.
  • Complying with data integrity and security policies.
  • Other tasks and duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven data entry work experience.
  • 12 years in customer service or operations
  • Experience in a retail, wholesale, apparel setting is a plus.
  • Basic Excel knowledge is a must.
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs is preferred.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Experience working with a ERP system is an asset.
  • Experience working with a 3PL warehouse is an asset.
