Description
This role is a great opportunity for a dynamic procurement analyst with strong analytical skills, sound data management capabilities and experience in establishing collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the Project Manager - OA Project, you will:- Create, maintain and manage outline agreements across multiple categories within RTP.
- Ensure all outline agreements within scope, are reviewed and under managed status.
- Have the ability to gather, interpret and process a large volume of data in an efficient and effective manner
- Extract, analyse and interpret spend data (from SAP and other system sources) to identify trends, patterns and anomalies, and proactively communicate what the data conveys
- Support procurement categories, as well as build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Improve data quality, increase opportunities to save, improve performance / results with benchmarking, managing supplier risks and relationships
- Identify information sources, gather data in central location and cleanse to a high standard
- Enter negotiations prepared with data that can lead to best price and secured lead times.
- Ensure you follow the required governance and compliance relating to key Procurement documentation storage and file structure satisfying audit requirements
- Maintain a positive, constructive, and collaborative working relationship with the team, business, and vendors
The successful applicant will have:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; pivot tables, Vlook up, formulas etc.
- Ability to communicate professionally and succinctly (verbally and written)
- Strong PowerPoint skills to enable clear and impactful presentation of the data facts to support effective decision making
- Strong SAP navigation and data capture skills
- The ability to work under pressure and to meet aggressive deadlines
- A proven record of building productive internal stakeholder relationships across all levels
- Ability to communicate in a professional, succinct and clear fashion with all stakeholders
- Strong negotiation skills
- An ability to work unsupervised and be a selfstarter i.e. proactive, highly organised & dependable
- A proven track record of being a real and genuine team player and supporting colleagues
Job Type:
Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary:
$40.00-$45.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Montréal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- purchasing: 2 years (preferred)
