Job Title:
Accounting Technician / Junior Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide some idea of the tasks you may be performing, a list of responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Plan, set up and administer accounting systems
Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control
Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies
Prepare reports and audit findings
Prepare financial statements and reports
Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirements
Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure
Prepare remittances from accounting records
Analyze financial documents and reports
Examine accounting records
Provide financial, business and tax advice
Other accounting requirements as determined by the accounting manager

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements and qualifications for this position are a combination of skills and attitude:

Must have a diploma in an accounting program
Must be working towards a CPA designation
Must be have 5 years of experience in accounting
Must have 1+ years of Yardi Voyager experience
