Field Service Technicians handle the day-to-day service operations at HealthHub.

They are the main contributors to ticket closure in the field and ensure that equipment in our hospitals is functioning optimally.


Key Responsibilities:
- responsible for addressing standard service issues at hospital sites.
- responsible for a basic technical understanding of healthhub systems including TV and IBT deployments.
- assist with single bed issue escalations as needed.
- responsible for professional communication with all stakeholders
- responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary equipment (HH provided) with them at all times to address issues quickly.
- may be asked to assist in projects that increase our efficiency, productivity, or gross margin, such as site audits, updates to network designs, installations, decommissioning and redeployments.


Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience inspecting, installing, performing diagnostics of, or repairing technical equipment in healthcare, commercial. or residential environments.
  • Strong communication skills, including communications with customers that don't know our products and are not versed in ITspeak (Must be Fluent in English).
  • Basic understanding of TV and IBT systems and should be able to troubleshoot single bed issues.
  • Able to identify Root Cause based on service issues logged in support central
  • Reliable personal transportation to hospitals in the Toronto and Greater Toronto Area with valid Driver's License, in good standing.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to other parts of Ontario at times.
  • Ability to read and analyze system logs.
  • Ability to carry and lift up to 40lbs regularly.
  • Availability on weekends and after hours when required.
  • Postsecondary education in related field considered an asset.
