Finance Department - Accounts Receivable Administrator
Nova Networks Inc. is growing our Finance Department; we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our team in Ottawa. This position plays a key role in the collection and management of revenue.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues related to billing
- Working with Operations and Sales teams to resolve customer issues
- Responding to Operations and Sales teams request for information
- Following up with clients to insure payment of invoices within the agreed terms
- Reviewing daily payments applied to customer accounts
- Preparing and maintaining an Accounts Receivable tracking report
- Reviewing Accounts Receivable with Management
- Strategizing with Management on collection issues
- Postsecondary education in Accounting or an Accounting background
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice-to-haves:
- Familiar with IT manufacturers and products an asset
- Knowledge of Sage 300 ERP an asset
- Bilingual in French and English

Experience:
- Accounts receivable: 1 year (preferred)
