- Reading and interpreting drawings and electrical code specifications
- Splicing and connecting wire to fixtures and components to form circuits
- Testing and troubleshooting circuits to ensure; current, continuity, voltage are operating safely
- Pulling wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floors
- Communicating effectively as a member of a team with supervisors and other skilled trades people
- Install lighting fixtures and manufacturing equipment
- Examine, replace and/or repair electrical components
- Maintain, repair and test switch gear, transformers, regulators, motors, generators, and control systems
- Keep maintenance records
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Remain current with developments in electrical technology, industry best practices, and relevant codes and regulations.
- Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture
- Valid Ontario Electrician License (309A)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of work experience in manufacturing environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of CSA/ESA laws and the Ontario Electrical Code, regulations, and safety standards.
- Extensive familiarity of transformers, power panels, lighting requirements within an Industrial setting
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Availability to work on a rotating shift schedule and respond to emergency calls as needed.

We have an immediate need for Electricians (309A) to join our Facilities Team.
