    Are you a skilled Licensed Electrician with 10 years with above–average troubleshooting skills? Do you have CNC troubleshooting skills or can refurbish CNC Machines and equipment? The ideal role is a leader who will maintain the shop

    Are you located in or near Barrie, ON, or moving to the Barrie area?

    Days Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 and would like $45 overtime add $3.00 hrly if working overtime and paid double time for Saturday and Sunday

    • Pension, benefits fully paid
    - pay rate is $45 overtime after 8 hours and 40 hours in a week double-time Saturday and Sunday if you work overtime add $3.00 to your hrly rate

    Responsibilities
    Routine repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and systems including CNC-controlled lathes and mills, welders, fabrication equipment, etc.

    • Retrofit of CNC machine tools including mills, lathes, and multiaxis mill/turns.
    • Indepth knowledge of the Electrical Safety Code along with related schematics and symbols.
    • Experience with servo motors and controls, frequency drives, sensors, AC and DC motors, etc., and how they relate to electrical systems.
    • Understanding of PLCs and basic programming skills.
    • Familiarity with mechanical principles such as pneumatics and hydraulics and troubleshooting those systems.
    • Strong troubleshooting ability for CNC equipment, able to trace issues back to causeandeffect repairs.
    Qualifications
    Must be a 442a or 309 A Industrial Electrician experience in a manufacturing environment
    Familiarity with CNC controls (Heidenhain, Haas, Fanuc, and Fagor amongst others). DAY SHIFT
    We are currently looking for a Licensed Electrician with 10 years of experience.
